Hamburg, July 6th, 2006 – Hachemie GmbH – the Hamburg based international marketing and distribution company and Member of the HugoHäffner-Group, Asperg - announced today on behalf of their principal Quiborax Ltda., Santiago de Chile that effective August,1st 2006, or as contracts permit, an additional increase for the off-list pricing on all Boron chemicals will be valid. Prices will increase by 5 percent on ex stock basis. The price increase is necessary to offset the continued increase in the costs of raw materials, energy and transportation.
